“I’m the kind of guy that’s always looking for something to improve my bottom line, and I’ve never seen anything jump my productivity like the MacDon FlexDraper did. Comparing walker to walker, we ran a 30 foot FlexDraper side by side in the same field with our regular 30 foot flex head and we saw at least a 20% to 30% increase in capacity with the FlexDraper. We even tracked our fuel consumption and we found we were burning about one gallon an hour less, even though we were running the FlexDraper at 4 MPH and our regular flex head at 3 MPH. Before trying the FlexDraper, I was sceptical about its three-section head being able to follow the contours of the ground, but it does a better job than any flex head I’ve ever used. We also got a better, more even spread of material out of the back of the combine, and experienced less header loss because we were able to cut as close to the ground as we needed to.”
