“We had bought some other machines brand new, but we were just disgusted with how much they broke down and got rid of them in one season. With our 19,000 acres spread out over 300 fields, we have to go like heck at harvest time and can’t afford downtime. That’s why I chose MacDon after looking at everything out there. MacDon headers are built simple and tough, and just don’t break down. They are also very operator friendly. You can put anyone in it and they can operate it. We also like the smooth, even windrow the MacDon 933 header creates. It allows the combine to run more efficiently and we retain more seed because of it. Finally, we like just how little winter maintenance our windrowers require. My neighbors use machines made by a competitor and they just about have to rebuild them every winter. They say that they wish they had bought MacDon.”
